Thibault interned with us mere months ago, so we really wanted to hear what he had to say about his experience working here. He graduated from UGent magna cum laude, majoring in new media and society. So what is it that attracted him to In The Pocket? Let’s hear it straight from the horse’s mouth:

“In The Pocket is quite an institution around these parts. I was attracted to the big-name clients and innovative projects. My first day was very well-organized—everything had been planned to a T: an office tour, a first-day schedule, all things admin, you name it.”

During his time here, Thibault was part of the strategy team, working on an interesting strategic project for a retailer: “We developed and updated an omnichannel program with a matching app and website. I was also involved in some smaller projects for an AR ROI calculator, feature prioritization for Showpad, and research for Payconiq by Bancontact.”

“When you’ve just graduated, it is incredibly important to build your own network. During my internship, I met so many incredible people from myriad different domains, like UX, project management, business development, and IT. And those people, in turn, know other people, who know even more people, and so on. Those connections will prove useful one day.”

“Ultimately, an internship at In The Pocket also looks great on your resume. Whenever I talk to potential employers in this industry, they will know at least one other person who works for In The Pocket. And you know what? I just had a blast interning. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about where I want my career to go. This internship was definitely the right move for me.
